Healthy Air Fryer Avocado Fries
A unique and delicious snack or side dish.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (panko or regular)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Prepare the Avocado: Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and cut each half into fries.
Coat the Avocado: In three separate bowls, place the flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, paprika, and salt. Dredge the fries in the flour, then dip into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
Arrange in the Air Fryer: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Place the coated avocado fries in a single layer in the basket, leaving space between each one.
Air Fry the Avocado: Air fry the avocado fries at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Once cooked, remove the avocado fries from the air fryer and serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing, chipotle mayo, or salsa.
