Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Cream Butter and Sugars: In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add Egg and Vanilla: Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fold in Chocolate Chips: Gently fold in the semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough.
Form Cookie Dough Balls: Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of cookie dough and roll them into balls. Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Air Fry the Cookies: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray. Arrange the cookie dough balls in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between each cookie.
Bake in Batches: Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to bake the cookies in batches. Do not overcrowd the basket.
Air Fry at 350°F: Air fry the cookies at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown around the edges.
Cool and Enjoy: Once baked, remove the cookies from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack before serving. Enjoy your homemade Air Fryer Chocolate Chip Cookies!
These cookies are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth, and the air fryer gives them a crispy exterior while keeping the inside soft and chewy. Enjoy!
